Sharjah take the last semi-final place
A 90-61 win over Bani Yas in a deciding third game completed the men's league last four.
Sharjah's basketball team took the fourth and final place in the men's general league semi-finals with a 90-61 win over visitors Bani Yas in the deciding third game of their quarter-final. The two had traded wins in the first and second legs — Sharjah 89-57 on the ninth of last month, before Bani Yas replied with exactly the same score in the second leg on the 26th.
The win completes the last four alongside Shabab Al Ahli, Al Nasr and Al Bataeh, all of whom had secured their places early. The semi-finals begin on 6 February 2021 in the same best-of-three format, a first and second leg with a decider should the sides be level on wins.
Sharjah meet Al Bataeh, while last season's runners-up Shabab Al Ahli face Al Nasr.
