12 overseas professionals registered for the men's league season

Seven clubs registered 12 imports for the 2023/24 men's league, which tips off with Shabab Al Ahli against Al Dhafra.

The new 2023/24 men's basketball league features 12 overseas professionals across the seven competing clubs — two per squad, except Al Wahda and Al Dhafra, who registered one each.

Only three players were re-registered; the rest are new signings. Shabab Al Ahli have American Daniel Lewis (new) and compatriot Nicholas Minnerath (re-registered). Al Nasr registered American Marvel Harris and Serbian Nikola Dragovic, both new. Sharjah brought in the American pair Devon Scott and Marcus Jones.

Al Wasl re-registered Americans Stedmon Lemon and Nicholas West; Al Bataeh signed Americans Donte Jamar and Devante Foster; Al Wahda registered a single import, American Mayor Gordon; and Al Dhafra signed Senegalese Papy Diop.

The season opens on Wednesday 11 October 2023 with Shabab Al Ahli against Al Dhafra, Al Nasr against Al Wahda, and Al Wasl against Al Bataeh.
