Sharjah's 72-70 win over visitors Shabab Al Ahli has forced a deciding third game for the men's general league title, after they lost the first leg of the final 82-69.
The competition's rules set the final as a best-of-three, comprising a first and second leg with a decider if the teams are level — which Sharjah have now secured, with the third game set for next Saturday, 13 March.
Al Bataeh took the bronze medal and third place in the league after beating Al Nasr 94-88.
