Sharjah and Al Wasl reach the Federation Cup final
Sharjah beat Shabab Al Ahli 94-80 at home to book their place in the final of the open men's Federation Cup.
Sharjah reached the final of the open men's Federation Cup at the expense of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, winning their semi-final 94-80 at Sharjah's hall, by quarters of 24-26, 29-16, 18-18 and 23-20.
At Al Wasl's hall the hosts also went through, beating Al Nasr 74-70 by quarters of 15-19, 21-17, 13-14 and 25-20. They meet Sharjah for the title next Wednesday, 21 September, at 7.15pm at Al Wasl's hall, the venue drawn in the presence of representatives of both clubs at federation headquarters in Dubai.
Shabab Al Ahli Dubai and Al Nasr will contest third and fourth place on the same date at the same venue, tipping off at 5pm.
