Shabab Al Ahli win the 44th men's league
An 81-70 win in the deciding third game against Sharjah gave Shabab Al Ahli the 44th edition of the men's league.
Major General Ismail Al Qarqawi, president of the UAE and Arab federations, presented the 44th men's league title to Shabab Al Ahli after an 81-70 win over Sharjah in the deciding third game at Shabab Al Ahli's hall. The federation board attended finals day in full.
The officiating crew, led by internationals Hassan Haji and Salem Al Zaabi with Kostas of Greece, handled the match impressively and the game was technically sound throughout. International commissioner Dawood Al Tamimi supervised.
Al Qarqawi thanked both teams on finals day, along with the other clubs that took part, noting the good standard the competition had shown given the current global health situation, and that the precautionary measures the federation put in place with the clubs had contributed considerably to delivering it properly in every respect.
