Provisional plan to complete the age-group leagues
At its 40th session, held remotely on 6 May, the board approved a provisional plan to resume and complete the age-group league competitions.
The board of the UAE Basketball Association has announced that at its 40th session, held remotely on 6 May, it approved a provisional plan for the return of activity and the completion of the remaining matches in the age-group league competitions.
The plan runs as follows: the Final 4 stage of the Mini-Basketball B, Mini-Basketball A, Cadets and Juniors competitions will be completed between 23 and 27 August 2020.
The preparation period and group training will run from 3 to 22 August 2020, preceded by small-group sessions of three to four players from 19 July 2020.
All Final 4 matches will be played at a neutral venue, the Salah Al Din hall, so that the federation can implement precautionary and preventive measures in cooperation with the relevant health authorities.
It was also decided that the age-group competitions for the 2020/21 season will begin on 11 September 2020.
