President's Cup draw made for the 2021/22 season
The draw for the 2021/22 President's Cup was held ahead of the competition's start on 21 March, with the vice-president and board members attending.
The draw for the 2021/22 H.H. the President's Cup, due to begin on 21 March, was made at federation headquarters in Dubai in the presence of vice-president Abdullatif Al Fardan, board member Mansour Al Hashemi, federation director Mohammed Ahmed Al Hammadi, technical director Dr Mounir Ben Habib and technical committee member Adel Saif Dhaen, along with delegates from the competing teams.
The competition is played on a knockout basis. Shabab Al Ahli, league champions for 2020/21, were seeded at the head of Group A, and Sharjah, cup holders for 2021/22, at the head of Group B.
A random draw placed the remaining four teams — Al Bataeh, Al Nasr, Al Wasl and Al Wahda — with Al Wahda and Al Wasl going into Group A and Al Bataeh and Al Nasr into Group B. Matches will be played at neutral venues, to be confirmed later.
