Mighty Sports reach the final
The Filipino side beat Morocco's Sale 80-76 in the semi-final despite a rush of errors.
Mighty Sports of the Philippines reached the final of the Dubai International Basketball Championship with a deserved 80-76 win over Sale of Morocco in the semi-final. Mighty came close to paying for their haste and for repeated errors in the last two minutes, particularly when Sale cut the gap to four — despite the loss of their Tunisian professional Radhouane Slimane, who fouled out in the final four minutes and cost the team one of its most important assets. The quarters finished 25-15, 19-19, 22-21 and 14-21.
