The 2019/20 UAE basketball league resumes on 11 September with Al Wasl hosting Al Bataeh in the quarter-final second leg, after the competition was halted by the coronavirus.
The federation has also set 15 September for a deciding game between Al Bataeh and Al Wasl, should Al Wasl win the second leg, Al Bataeh having taken the first leg last March.
The winner joins Shabab Al Ahli, Sharjah and Al Nasr in the semi-finals. Al Jazira, Al Dhafra and Bani Yas had previously announced their withdrawal from the remainder of the league.
The semi-finals between the four begin on 18 September, with further meetings on the 23rd and 28th of the same month, and the league closing on 3 October.
Federation secretary general Salem Al Mutawa had said the new 2020/21 season would begin on 16 October.
