Federation sets the dates for resuming the men's and mini-basketball leagues

Salem Al Mutawa, secretary general of the UAE Basketball Association, has announced that the 2019/20 men's league will resume from 11 September.
The decision followed a meeting chaired by federation president Major General Ismail Al Qarqawi.
Al Mutawa revealed that the new 2020/21 season will begin on 16 October.
On the final stage of the 2019/20 general league for Mini-Basketball A and B, Cadets and Juniors, it was decided that the final stage of the mini-basketball competitions would resume from 10 September, with the new season starting on 25 September 2021, taking into account the precautionary measures and coordination with the relevant authorities in the country.
