Federation consults club coaches on the return to training

A coordination meeting with the technical directors of the men's clubs, chaired by vice-president Abdullatif Al Fardan, formed a committee to oversee the safe return of activity.
The UAE Basketball Association has concluded a coordination and consultation meeting with the technical directors of the men's club teams, attended by federation vice-president Abdullatif Al Fardan.
During the session, run by the federation's technical director Dr Mounir Ben Habib, the proposal for the return of training outside and inside the hall was discussed, taking into account the recommendations of FIBA and of the government bodies responsible for health and sport.
The coaches contributed valuable technical proposals on the preparation timetable, the number of training sessions per week and the type of exercises, while maintaining the precautionary measures.
The federation also issued a decision forming a committee to secure the return of basketball activity, chaired by vice-president Abdullatif Al Fardan, with the following members: secretary general Salem Al Mutawa; competitions committee chairman Osama Qarqash; Abdullah Madani; a representative of the health authority; and Hussein Samaka.
