Dubai international coaching course postponed

The board of the UAE Basketball Association, chaired by Major General Ismail Al Qarqawi, has announced the postponement of the Dubai international coaching course to the start of the 2020/21 season.

The course had been due to begin on the 16th of the month, but the board decided to postpone it given current circumstances caused by the novel coronavirus and out of concern for everyone's safety.

On Wednesday the board also postponed the general assembly meeting scheduled for 14 April until further notice, because of current circumstances.

More than two weeks ago the board moved to remote working, in line with instructions issued to protect public health.
