Al Riyadi reach the final
A one-point win over compatriots Hoops, 91-90, sent Al Riyadi through in a game that went to the final seconds.
Al Riyadi of Lebanon reached the Dubai International final after beating their compatriots Hoops by a single point, 91-90. The match was gripping from the first minute to the closing moments, and Hoops came close to turning the tables on the holders after leading by six with four minutes left, before Al Riyadi's experience told. The quarters finished 27-19, 20-25, 20-27 and 24-19. The Hoops player recorded the highest points tally, 28, one basket ahead of Al Riyadi's Wael Arakji.
