Al Nasr win the women's league
The federation president presented the title to Al Nasr after a 76-58 win over Sharjah Women's Sport in the final.
Federation president Major General Ismail Al Qarqawi presented the league title to Al Nasr's women after a 76-58 win over Sharjah Women's Sport in the final. The presentation was attended by Nada Al Naqbi, director general of Sharjah Women's Sport, federation board members Farid Al Qaiwani and Maitha bin Dawi, and Marwan Sinkal, vice-chairman of Al Nasr's team games company.
It was a strong contest, with Al Nasr holding the advantage through all four quarters to reclaim the league title. Al Qarqawi congratulated both teams afterwards on the quality the players produced across the four periods.
In the third-place match, Sharjah Women's Sport (Central branch) beat Sharjah Women's Sport (Eastern branch) 47-45, taking third with the Eastern branch fourth.
