Sale take second place in Group A
An 88-84 win over Hoops secured second place for Sale and dropped the Lebanese side to third.
Sale of Morocco secured second place in Group A after beating Hoops of Lebanon 88-84 yesterday, dropping the Lebanese side to third, where they will meet Ezzahra Sports of Tunisia in the quarter-finals. Sale will play the third-placed team in Group B, either the UAE national team or Beirut, in the same round.
The quarters finished 26-24, 22-14, 16-28 and 23-18, with Sale's Tunisian professional Radhouane Slimani recording the highest score, 22 points.
